A Spcine anuncia sua participação no festival South by Southwest (SXSW) 2024, que ocorre anualmente na cidade de Austin, EUA. Durante os dias 08 e 14 de março, a presença da Spcine no evento é marcada por uma série de iniciativas estratégicas e colaborativas, incluindo a promoção do cenário cinematográfico paulistano, a expansão de parcerias e o fortalecimento da presença internacional do setor audiovisual da cidade, através da integração de profissionais do audiovisual paulistano e da participação em painéis na Casa São Paulo. 

Além de proporcionar aos profissionais uma experiência enriquecedora em grandes festivais de cinema e audiovisual, a presença da Spcine no SXSW também tem como meta atrair investimentos para a cidade, através de reuniões individuais com players em fase inicial de carreira.

Outra ação de destaque é a organização de um jantar exclusivo, em parceria com o SXSW, proporcionando um ambiente propício para networking e interação entre diretores, produtores e representantes do setor audiovisual. O evento acontecerá no dia 11 de março, a partir das 19h, no Hotel Driskill Ballroom, e contará com a presença de representantes de diversas autoridades do setor cultural paulistano. 

Casa São Paulo 

Além das ações mencionadas, a Spcine também estará presente na “Casa São Paulo”, um espaço desenvolvido pelo Governo do Estado de São Paulo visando à divulgação dos trabalhos audiovisuais de profissionais paulistas. Durante os dias 9 a 12 de março, este espaço será palco de painéis, entrevistas, exibições de filmes e rodadas de negócios, destacando a diversidade e a qualidade da produção cinematográfica paulistana. Dentre suas participações na Casa São Paulo estão: apoio para a exibição do filme “Pedágio”, dirigido por Carolina Markowicz e estrelado por Maeve Jinkings, como parte da política de internacionalização da Spcine, e participação em três painéis temáticos, conforme programação abaixo.
